Requirements
- Attended the foundation courses or a university graduate degree or a five-year business /professional experience
Course Objectives:
The participants will analyse and acquire the following dimensions
- What is communication and its key elements
- How culture is fundamental in the communication process
- The process of communication and the environmental interferences
- The negotiation process and the importance of perception
- The impact of culture in the negotiation process
- Components of a negotiation
- The global monitoring of the negotiation
- Different type of negotiation: bilateral and multilateral
- Characteristics of a good negotiator
Expected Outcomes:
The participant will be able
- to integrate a communication and negotiation team in a constructive manner,
- to ask the right questions,
- to identify strengths and weaknesses within the team, and
- to propose alternative solutions
The participant will acquire
- the analytical capacity of monitoring the negotiation process and motivation of the opposite team(s) and
- the capacity of reaching alternative ways of reaching a win-win agreement in the negotiation process
- the capacity of leading and constructively participate in a negotiation team
